'5 Ways to Wellbeing' Week

Each day of Mental Health Week will be focusing on each aspect of the '5 Ways to Wellbeing' model and will have an activity facilitated for both community members and staff.

Yarra Ranges Mental Health Expo

A range of local mental health and wellbeing organisations will take part in this expo which aims to build awareness of local services and highlight mental health issues in our community.

Kew and Blackburn

Soles Bared Stories Shared - Mental Health Week Boroondara 2016

This event is a twilight market. There will be local food traders cooking delicious goods and stalls to buy art/craft/plants/baked goods, as well as activities for the whole family, including art and craft and roving musicians.

Mental Health Week interactive info session

Regent and Craigieburn will be hosting an interactive info session to engage and educate the community about mental health, in partnership with Darebin City Council.

Come fly a Kite for Mental Health day

This is a community event where Neami staff will share information about our service, handing out show-bags, as well as inviting people to participate in a free kite making workshop. There will also be a sausage sizzle available for a gold coin donation.

Rock into Recovery Festival Launch with MIND

This is an event hosted by the organisation MIND. Neami Yarraville will be attending to meet with the community and provide information on Neami services.

Mental Health Month Concerts

Held in conjunction with Local Health District Mental Health Drug & Alcohol Team, these concerts will feature guest artists, free sausage sizzles and information stands.

BAWU Activity Program - Open Day

Cairns Bawu will be celebrating both the opening of their new site, as well as Mental Health Day, with an afternoon tea. Consumers, carers, relevant stakeholders and partners are invited.

Mental Health Expo - stall presentation

This expo will showcase services in this catchment area of Brisbane North. Guest Speaker Osher Gunsher (TV and Radio presenter) will be attending. . Open to all the public with Guest Speaker Osher Gunsher, a TV and Radio presenter. Neami Strathpine will be presenting an exciting board game at their stall, demonstrating how individuals design their own journey moving into the NDIS space.

Art Exhibition showcasing the talent of artists who attend the Comet Arts, Digits and Drawn Together Programs run by Neami in collaboration with Western Psychosocial Rehabilitation Programs.
