A new community based mental health facility is opening its doors to the public tomorrow.
Neami, the national organisation that runs the new 10-bedroom facility, wants the public to meet the team before they officially open for business on Monday.
"The open day is a chance for people to explore how we provide services, especially family and carers who are fundamental in the recovery process," said Acting Manager Chris Lines.
"We're hoping that people will come and experience the great environment that the unit provides," Mr Lines said.
"We're all about improving mental health and wellbeing in local communities - people from all walks of life and cultures - so opening our doors is an essential step in developing our service and meeting the people who will benefit most."
The facility is located in the Broken Hospital grounds in Thomas Street, behind the former War Veterans' Hostel.
The open day runs from 9am to 1pm.
