Reflecting on 2016
Reaching Out Moving Forward

As another year draws to a close, it's timely to take a moment to reflect on the year that was and acknowledge those who supported and worked collaboratively with Neami National to achieve full citizenship for people with mental illness.

Reaching Out Moving Forward

Despite an environment of unprecedented volatility, uncertainty and complexity, Neami has had a successful year. Embodying the theme of our Annual Report ‘Reaching Out Moving Forward’, in 2016 we have expanded our service delivery options, invested in infrastructure and technology and continued improving outcomes for people living with mental illness.

Thank you

These successes wouldn’t have been possible without the support of many partnerships at national, state and local levels. We would like to thank you, our valued partners who we work collaboratively with in areas such as mental health, community health, welfare and social support, culturally diverse communities, training, housing and homelessness, local government, arts, culture, recreation and healthy living. These strong partnerships offer new opportunities to support better outcomes for people with mental illness.

Looking ahead

As we move into 2017 we remain committed to diversifying, investing in the future and strategically positioning our organisation for what lies ahead. We continue to maintain high levels of integrity, and believe our capacity, experience and strong partnerships will position us well for new opportunities. We look forward to opportunities to work together in 2017.

As we approach the festive season, I’d like to wish you good health and all the very best for the year ahead.
