The MHCSS referral portal

The MHCSS Intake service has an online portal for referring to MHCSS. The portal at mhcss.neaminational.org.au makes referring to MHCSS even easier and available 24 hours a day. You can self-refer or refer others.

About the Neami Central Intake Assessment Service (MHCSS)

The Neami Central Intake Assessment Service provides a clear enquiry and referral point for all MHCSS funded community mental health services. It is for people with a psychiatric disability aged 16-64, their carers/family and referring agencies to find and access Mental Health Community Support Services (MHCSS). Please note that due to the NDIS transition, some services are now funded through NDIS instead of MHCSS.

For Individual Client Support Packages (ICSP) this service covers these Local Government Areas:

  • Melbourne
  • Moonee Valley
  • Brimbank
  • Wyndham
  • Hobsons Bay
  • Melton
  • Maribyrnong
  • NB: for previously covered areas, such as Bayside and Peninsula, please contact NDIS on 1800 800 110 for Individual Support.

For Residential Rehabilitation Intake (MHCSS) this service covers the following Programs:

  • Neami Moorabbin
  • Neami Seaford
  • Cohealth St Albans
  • Cohealth Essendon
  • Some Adult Residential Rehabilitation services until the transition to NDIS
