We are currently seeking experienced allied health workers to provide targeted assessment and therapeutic interventions to customers

Description:

  • Casual Position with a view to move to full time / part timeemployment
  • Based in the Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne, with the capacity to work across other Melbourne Metro areas.

The primary role of the Allied Health Worker is to draw on discipline skills to provide targeted assessment and therapeutic interventions to customers’ and their families as outlined in their NDIS plan. You will work collaboratively with the customer, family/carers, Support Coordinators and other providers to deliver a high quality and responsive service.

The Allied Health Worker will operate in the NDIS framework to support customers with a severe and persistent mental illness/psychiatric disability to work towards their recovery and meet their identified goals.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will have the following:

  • Relevant qualifications and registrations
  • 2 years’ experience preferable in mental health
  • A valid Working with Children check
  • Right to work within Australia
