Position overview

 We are currently seeking an enthusiastic individual to lead our team at East Victoria Park


  • Full Time 12 month maximum term contract

  • $61,315 – $65,978 per annum dependent on skills and experience

As a Team Leader with Me Well your primary responsibility will be to lead a team of dedicated support workers and/or support coordinators to ensure a high quality of service is delivered to customers with Mental illness.  In addition to the day to day management of the team you will also be responsible for interviewing, recruiting and managing probation of new team member (with support from People & Culture Team) developing partnerships and networks with 3rd party service providers, working with our NDIS Manager to ensure service quality, and developing a strong working relationship with funding providers.  You will act as the escalation point for issues as well as managing general operations for the team.  You will receive support and guidance reporting directly to the NDIS Manager.

You will be the kind of person that can get a little creative and come up with innovative ways to help your team succeed.    In addition to the people side of the role you will also have excellent administration skills, strong computer literacy, report writing and financial management abilities. Ideally you will bring solid experience and/or qualifications in mental health work or social welfare.

You will also need:

  • Formal qualification in mental health
  • Relevant industry experience
  • Your own vehicle (or regular access to one) that is fully registered and insured
  • A current Australian drivers licence
  • A current police and working with children check
  • Australian Working Rights
